Today
I’ll talk about how is being my new life in this new city….
When
I arrived in New Orleans I visited a friend from my church. She took me to the City Park,
I am in love with this place, the landscape, the view, the gardens…everything. She
said me that people marry in this park, and it is truly a dream`s place.
I went to CAFE
DU MONDE, it is a beautiful place and you must taste the Beignets, it is like a
cake covered by sugar, but it’s different, it is unique. Have you already watched a
Disney’s movie called “The Princess and The Frog”? The beignets appear in this
movie! =]
I’ve already
seen the Streetcar (picture bellow) and I want to ride as soon as possible.
Additionally I
saw the Steamboat Natchez and I really want to ride in this boat. Searching
about it, I saw that they have Jazz Dinner in the boat, it must be awesome!!
What I miss
the most from Brazil is my family and my boyfriend, I wish they were here to
enjoy all that good things with me!!

Hello Kareno. Very nice to see your photos at the City Park. Like you I want to take a ride on the Streetcar, I hope we can all do this in a weekend.

If you had gone out with me you would have taken too. I hope we can enjoy good moments, like the barbecue yesterday. Bye XO

DeleteCity Park is definitely one of my favorite places to go in the city. My husband and I actually had our wedding party there in 2010.
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE beignets!!!! I love to get up early on a Saturday or Sunday morning and go down the French Quarter to have beignets and hot chocolate or cafe au lait. Early in the morning is when the city is just waking up, so it's nice and quiet and serene.
